We’re excited to announce that John F. Ramirez has been elected to serve as the 2024 WALII Executive Committee researcher representative! The Executive Committee (EC) oversees setting guidelines and policies that uphold WALII’s mission and values, ensure their implementation, and respond quickly if urgent matters arise.

EC members monitor the progress of research, training, and outreach programs and advise the Director on key decisions or any necessary adjustments. John will be responsible for voicing the needs of the trainees during WALII Executive Committee meetings to ensure that trainee needs are being met in 2024.
